The former WWE United States Champion MVP confirmed the new name of the reunited 'Hurt Business' faction following Bobby Lashley's AEW debut. MVP shared a post confirming the new name of the group.
MVP made his AEW debut at Dynamite Grand Slam in September 2024 with the rumors of a Hurt Business reunion doing rounds. Later, Shelton Benjamin also made his All Elite debut joining forces with MVP for the first time since The Hurt Business' break up in the WWE.
On Dynamite this past week, Bobby Lashley made his AEW debut following the main event match between Shelton Benjamin and Swerve Strickland. After Swerve defeated Shelton, MVP took out his phone and called someone. Lashley showed up and had a face-off with Swerve.
Before Dynamite went off the air, Lashley and MVP took out Swerve and Prince Nana. After Lashley's debut, MVP took to Instagram to share a video from the show, confirming that his trio is now known as 'The Hurt Syndicate' with a hashtag in his caption.

Bobby Lashley on MVP signing with AEW
Prior to his blockbuster debut on Dynamite this week, Bobby Lashley weighed in on AEW signing MVP. Speaking on The Lame Guys podcast recently, he said the following about MVP going All Elite:
"With any show, you need your established guys to help establish some that aren't. MVP coming over brings a lot of notoriety, a fanbase, and a level starting that they can use. Some of the guys there are fantastic wrestlers, they just need to be in the ring with certain [talent]."
Moreover, Lashley is now officially reunited with MVP and Shelton Benjamin for the first time since their Hurt Business days in the WWE. Only time will tell what's next for The Hurt Syndicate in AEW.
