Mercedes Mone is her own hype girl, but recently the fans saw her putting over another AEW star. The star is none other than her friend, Kamille.
The Brickhouse is popularly known for her stint in National Wrestling Alliance where she was the NWA Women's Champion for 800+ days. Her contract with the promotion ended in January earlier this year and then she left the company.
Tony Khan signed her in April 2024 but wasn't brought to TV until Blood and Guts in July, which also marked her debut. She allied with The CEO on her television debut and attacked Britt Baker. She made her in-ring debut on the July 31 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women's Champion Mercedes Mone recently took to X/Twitter to share a photo of herself with her partner in crime Kamille. She also wrote a few lines to hype her up.
"My chick bad, my chick hood. My chick do stuff that your chick wish she could," she wrote.
Veteran wants to see Mercedes Mone and Beth Pheonix rivalry in AEW
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Mac Davis on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Senior Editor Bill Apter said he would like to see Beth Pheonix feuding with Mercedes Mone in a promo battle.
"I think I'd like to see her in terms of promos battling Mercedes Mone the CEO," Apter said.
He also stated that The Glamazon should join AEW and team up with her husband Adam Copeland as the latter is an All Elite star.
A while ago, it was reported that the WWE Hall of Famer had left WWE. This led many fans to believe that they might soon see her alongside her husband in the Tony Khan-led pro wrestling promotion.
Beth's last match took place at the 2023 Elimination Chamber. At the event, she teamed up with former Edge to wrestle Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day.
