A former WWE Superstar recently revealed Adam Copeland (FKA Edge) as one of his favorite Canadian wrestlers. The talent in question is Matt Cardona.
Cardona is popular for his stint in the Stamford-based company, where he wrestled under the ring name Zack Ryder. The former Intercontinental Champion worked for the Sports Entertainment juggernaut for 15 years (2005-2020). The 39-year-old was released by the promotion in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 budget cuts.
The Indy God is very active on social media. He recently conducted a question-answer session with fans on his official Twitter (X) account. A curious fan urged Cardona to name his "favorite Canadian wrestler."
Cardona didn't give a definitive answer, as he failed to choose between his wife, Chelsea Green, and WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland.

"My hot wife… or Edge," he replied.
Notably, Matt Cardona locked horns with Adam Copeland inside the squared circle earlier this year. The 39-year-old challenged the former Edge for the AEW TNT Championship on the March 30, 2024, episode of Collision in a losing cause.
Matt Cardona hints at a WWE return in 2025
Last week, Matt Cardona teased a WWE return for next year. Just a while ago, Triple H announced that next year's Royal Rumble will take place in Indianapolis on February 1.
Following the announcement, the erstwhile Zack Ryder took to his Twitter (X) to tease a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion at Royal Rumble 2025, as he alerted independent promoters that he wouldn't be available on February 1.
"Attention, independent promoters… Sorry, but I am unavailable on February 1. Thanks!'' he wrote.
Meanwhile, The Indy God is currently sidelined due to an injury. His last in-ring performance came at the GCW Joey Janela's Spring Break 8 PPV, where he defeated Blue Pain in a singles match.
