Natalya and TJ Wilson have been training Brodie Lee's son, Brodie Lee Jr., at Dungeon for some time. The young star recently received heavy praise for his in-ring skills and the wrestling couple also amassed some credit for it.
Brodie Lee passed away from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis on December 26, 2020. He was a former one-time AEW TNT Champion. He was also famous for his stint in WWE under the ring name Luke Harper where he won the Intercontinental Championship one time, the WWE SmackdDown Tag Team Championship two times, and the NXT Tag Team Championship once.
Brodie Lee Jr. has been making appearances for AEW since 2020. He is a member of The Dark Order (with Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, and John Silver) under the ring name Negative One. He hasn't been on TV for some time but he's been training at the Dungeon with Natalya and Tyson Kidd.
Negative One wants to become a pro wrestler like his father and it looks like he's heading in the right direction at a rather high speed. Wrestling journalist Scott Fishman recently witnessed Lee Jr. inside the ring and was thoroughly impressed by his progress. He also praised Natalya and TJ Wilson for training the 12-year-old star so brilliantly:
"Tonight I witnessed Brodie Jr. working in the ring firsthand. I can’t believe how good he is already…coming up the right way with @TJWilson and @Natbynature. And so articulate and creative too. Look out. @MandaLHuber."
Reacting to Scott's tweet, Brodie Lee Jr.'s mom Amanda Huber expressed that she was very proud of her son:
"I know I’m bias but I truly think he’s going to be one the best of all time. He’s so insanely good already. And having @NatnybNature & @TJWilson as coaches… he’s gonna be unstoppable."
Natalya completes 18 years in WWE
Natalya signed her first WWE contract in 2007. She completed 18 years in the promotion this month. On the special occasion of her 18th anniversary with the company, she shared a heartfelt post about her incredible journey as a member of the WWE roster:
"Today marks 18 years since I signed my first WWE contract. 18 uninterrupted years of wrestling full-time for @wwe. Being able to compete in the ring with over 65 different women, who have each made me a better wrestler in their own unique way. Every match and moment has been a chance to learn, grow and to connect with all of you. I couldn’t have asked for a better story," she wrote.
Natalya is a third-generation professional wrestler and hails from one of wrestling's royal families: The Hart family. She is a former Divas Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, and Women's Tag Team Champion in WWE.
