Wrestling fans are buzzing at the prospect of a WWE Superstar leaving the sports entertainment juggernaut imminently, sparking rumors about a possible AEW run. The star in question is Natalya.
The Queen of Harts has been a consistent feature of WWE's women's division for nearly 17 years. A decorated wrestler with championship credentials in both singles and tag team competitions, Natalya has also played a role in training and developing several peers, making her a major asset in the Stamford-based promotion.
A new report from Sean Ross Sapp has revealed that the Canadian star's contract with World Wrestling Entertainment is set to run out in a couple of weeks, after which she may officially become a free agent.
The update prompted fans to flock to X/Twitter to share their reactions. Several users addressed the prospect of Natalya jumping ship to join AEW.
"Nattie Neidhart is All Elite," wrote one user.
Another user brought up the exciting possibility of a bout between Nattie and AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm at All In 2024.

Several similar reactions popped up on social media, wanting the former WWE Smackdown Women's Champion to go All Elite.
Natalya spoke on WWE CCO Triple H giving people second chances
WWE released several talents from its main roster and NXT recently, including Cameron Grimes, Xia Li, Xyon Quinn, Veer, Sanga, and Jinder Mahal.
During an interview with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic Show, Natalya commented on the talent cuts. The 41-year-old star offered hope to the released wrestlers by naming Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, and B-Fab as talents brought back by the company's Creative Head, Triple H.
"The other great thing about Triple H that I love is that he gives people second chances. So, yes, this week we saw a lot of people get cut from NXT. He’s been known to hire people back. Look at Tegan [Nox]; look at Scarlett and Karrion [Kross]. Look at, um, I’m just trying to think… Dakota [Kai], B-Fab, and Tehuti [Miles]. I’m just trying to think off the top of my head and yes, he’s been known to give people second chances," she said.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Natalya and whether or not she re-signs with WWE.
