Tonight on AEW Dynamite, the return of a certain WWE Hall of Famer has been alluded to. This has brought excitement to the fans, as many have been hoping for his in-ring return for some time now.
Adam Copeland (FKA Edge) has not been seen at Double or Nothing since May. He injured his leg in his match against Malakai Black, causing an extended hiatus from the promotion. However, it has recently been reported that he has been cleared for action.
Earlier tonight on Dynamite, FTR talked about getting retribution on Jon Moxley and The Death Riders. However, they revealed that they'll only be cleared to return early next year and that they'll be at Dynamite on January 1 in their hometown. They also talked about not coming alone.
Adam Copeland, who lives in the same area and is close to Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, seems like the most probable candidate to be their ally. Fans expressed excitement at Cope possibly coming to their aid at the show.
"HE'S COMING," a fan claimed.
"You think you know me," another mentioned.
Others discussed how this would be an interesting storyline, as the trio of the WWE Hall of Famer and FTR could go to war with the Death Riders.
"Comes FTRated🤘🏻🤟🏼," said another.
"RATEDFTR?? and does this mean we'll actually get to see jon moxley vs adam copeland feud??? Hell yeah I'm down for this," another hoped.
"Hoping that little 'we won’t be alone' tease at the end of that FTR promo is about a potential Adam Copeland return need him back so bad," said another.
The three former WWE Superstars are said to have played big roles in developing Fight for the Fallen
For some time now, FTR has been promoting Fight for the Fallen on January 1, which will take place in their hometown and honor the victims of Hurricane Helene.
This will also be where the promotion's simulcast on MAX will begin. Fightful Select has reported that the former WWE Champion, along with Dax and Cash, have played a big part in pushing for the show to be in Ashville, NC.
It is unclear what role they'll play on the show and whether they'll be in a match of sorts. Fans should stay tuned for surprises, including Adam Copeland's return.
