New alliance teased ahead of AEW Dynamite; Kenny Omega must stay vigilant

Kenny Omega may have found himself in another high-intensity situation after an AEW personality hinted at working with a certain top star in the industry. Both men in question have a bone to pick with Omega. This would be Don Callis and NJPW's Gabe Kidd.

Earlier this month, The Cleaner made an appearance at NJPW Power Struggle. Afterward, it was reported that he had gotten into a backstage brawl with Kidd and the two had to be separated. It seems an exchange of words between them suddenly turned physical.

On X/Twitter, Don Callis revealed he was about to talk to Gabe Kidd. He did not disclose the purpose of this meeting but it can be assumed that it would concern Kenny Omega surely. Despite turning on him and doing so much to make his life difficult, it seems that Callis isn't done with Kenny, and his goal may be to make his life miserable all the time.

"Looking forward to chatting with @GabeKidd0115," wrote the veteran.

This could even be a hint at him wanting to recruit Gabe Kidd or at least strike a temporary partnership with the Don Callis Family, similar to what the veteran did for Will Ospreay during his time with NJPW. The target on Kenny Omega's back may have just gotten bigger.
