AEW star Bryan Danielson officially retired from full-time competition at WrestleDream PPV after Jon Moxley defeated him for the AEW World Title. Some recent reports revealed that Danielson was the one who came up with Moxley's new unhinged character which has led to some interesting reactions from fans around the world.

Jon Moxley returned to AEW television last month and fans were clueless to see The Death Rider targeting Darby Allin. The former WWE star's intentions were made clear at All Out PPV where he, along with PAC and Claudio Castagnoli, turned on Bryan Danielson and officially kicked him out of The Blackpool Combat Club. Mox then took Darby Allin's AEW World Title number one contender spot and defeated The American Dragon at WrestleDream.

According to a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bryan Danielson is behind Jon Moxley's new character and the direction of The Blackpool Combat Club. The American Dragon also chose to retire in Tacoma at WrestleDream.

Jeff Jarrett shares his thoughts on Bryan Danielson's AEW retirement

Bryan Danielson competed in his final match as a full-time performer at WrestleDream where he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. After the match, The American Dragon was taken out by Wheeler Yuta who put a plastic bag over his head.

On a recent episode of his My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett explained the atmosphere in the arena at WrestleDream. The veteran said that the crowd was emotional and did not expect Bryan Danielson to lose his final match.

“I’ve never felt, because you could feel a crowd, even if they’re not yelling, it was really, really emotional. For him to be heading in there as the champion, and to go out that way, the people in the arena, I don’t think they expected him to lose under any circumstance, being that [the show] was in his backyard, and just how that last scene felt. [...] It was an emotional night," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

We will have to wait and see when and if Bryan Danielson decides to return to All Elite Wrestling television.
