Jeff Jarrett shares his thoughts on Bryan Danielson's AEW retirement
Bryan Danielson competed in his final match as a full-time performer at WrestleDream where he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. After the match, The American Dragon was taken out by Wheeler Yuta who put a plastic bag over his head.
On a recent episode of his My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett explained the atmosphere in the arena at WrestleDream. The veteran said that the crowd was emotional and did not expect Bryan Danielson to lose his final match.
“I’ve never felt, because you could feel a crowd, even if they’re not yelling, it was really, really emotional. For him to be heading in there as the champion, and to go out that way, the people in the arena, I don’t think they expected him to lose under any circumstance, being that [the show] was in his backyard, and just how that last scene felt. [...] It was an emotional night," he said. [H/T: Fightful]
We will have to wait and see when and if Bryan Danielson decides to return to All Elite Wrestling television.
