A newly signed AEW star has shared a positive health update, giving Tony Khan a huge boost.

Tony Khan recently signed Marshall and Ross Von Erich to AEW. The brothers themselves confirmed the move on their podcast. He signed them up despite one of them, Marshall, being out with an injury. He injured his pec at Ring of Honor in September and has been out since.

However, he recently revealed on his Claw podcast that he is back to full fitness.

“I'm 100%. I was hurt. I was hurt in September, I partially ripped my pec. Ross and I have been training like crazy. Honestly, I feel like I'm in the best shape I've ever felt. I needed to lose some weight anyway. I was getting pretty heavy. I was just bulking up and overdoing it to a point where my muscles were getting really tense. It's good for me to be a little lighter so I can stretch and be flexible because I'm naturally a pretty stiff person,” he said. [H/T Fightful]

Ross Von Erich sings AEW president Tony Khan’s praises

Marshall Von Erich’s tag team partner and brother, Ros Von Erich, took the chance to sing praises of his new boss, AEW president Tony Khan, and said that he is doing his best to keep the Von Erich name alive.

In the same podcast episode, Ross said:

“This is kind of the thing we've been working towards our whole careers. We knew it would be on a big major scale, and this meets every parameter with that. It means a lot for the Von Erich family and, not to kiss Tony [Khan's] butt, but he kind of single-handedly is keeping the Von Erich name and dream alive for us. He's going to have our loyalty forever because of that. More than anything, we're super excited for this day.”

It will be interesting to see Tony Khan's plans for the tag team, which, along with Dustin Rhodes, is the Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Champions.
