TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler) heaped a lot of praise on a former WWE personality. The name in question has been a regular feature on AEW TV.
Renee Paquette made her AEW debut on the October 12th, 2022 episode of Dynamite. Since then, she has been a regular feature on TV. She appears in several backstage segments during the show and even reacts appropriately during them.
Renee's interactions with the talent she is interviewing make the segment more lively. She responds accurately to what each wrestler says during her backstage interviews. This is what has made her a fan favorite.
Even Nic Nemeth has opened up about Renee's interviewing skills on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio where he called her the "unsung hero" and "MVP" of AEW. He also noted how she appropriately reacts to the mood and her stage direction abilities.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"Seriously, that is an unsung hero, MVP of AEW because she's in five, six, seven backstages every night," Nemeth said. "Every single step of the way, Renee reacts to it appropriately or embraces whatever the mood is, and even last night [on 'Dynamite'] just in between a very serious promo, she was just throwing the mic and moving it back and forth, knowing the stage direction of what this group was going to do. I said, 'Dammit, she's so good at her job.'"
Nemeth continued to praise Renee Paquette for doing such a great job continuously for 15 years.
"She's taking our place of being backstage and I think she does such a great job. Being good at this is great. She has annoyingly been really good at this for 15 years."
Nic Nemeth also previously called Jon Moxley the "MVP" of AEW
Jon Moxley has been featured prominently on AEW TV since the start of the promotion. He has undoubtedly been one of the promotion's top stars and has been involved in several important storylines over the years.
Currently, Mox is doing some of his best work as the leader of The Death Riders as they waged war on the promotion in recent weeks. The AEW World Champion has constantly proven that he is the face of the company and the person Tony Khan goes to when he needs someone to step up.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth called Jon Moxley the MVP of the Jacksonville-based promotion. He further said that it's hard to hate Mox since he has done a lot for the company and the fans are aware of it.
"They could be alluding to somebody 'higher power' or something, but I really think it's just we're getting a reset," he opined. "Absolute MVP of AEW since they started is Moxley. They go back to him — when in doubt, go back to him. There's a reason it's hard to boo Jon Moxley, even if he's playing a heel or an extra-vicious heel, because behind the scenes, you know what he's done for the company," Nemeth pointed out.
