Earlier tonight on Dynamite, a top tag team earned a future shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles after taking down the current champions, The Young Bucks. This would be The Acclaimed who took advantage of the in-ring situation after a mistake by the champions during the bout.

For a few weeks now, the former trios' champions have been going after The Elite, as they were clearly not a fan of how they were running the promotion, using their power and influence to their own advantage.
Last week, Christopher Daniels, the Interim EVP representing Tony Khan, announced this match, forcing the EVPs to put their titles on the line after almost two months of parading around without defending it.

The Young Bucks tried to pull out every trick in the book to steal a win, including low blows and blindside attacks with their belt. After Nicholas accidentally hit his brother with the belt, this left him isolated in the ring and The Acclaimed took advantage of this to go for a Mic Drop for the win.
This victory comes four years after they failed to get the better of The Young Bucks and now The Acclaimed have earned a future shot at the tag team titles.
