The sixth annual AEW All Out event featured a stacked lineup with several high-profile matches. A certain botch from All Out is trending on social media this week, with fans and industry insiders criticizing one of the match participants. Taz has just defended his colleague against words from a WWE Hall of Famer and others.

Bryan Danielson retained the World Championship over TNT Champion Jack Perry at All Out. The brutal post-match angle included the viral plastic bag spot that has also been heavily criticized. Perry vs. Danielson went just over twenty-seven minutes and was called by Bryce Remsburg, who was hurt during the match. The 22-year veteran has been with All Elite Wrestling since day one.

A viral video on X shows Remsburg pushing Perry's foot to help him kick out of a pin. In addition to the heat from fans, former AEW star Mark Henry also responded. The WWE Hall of Famer wrote that he wasn't going to comment on the actual spot because he'd be called a hater. Remsburg then responded to his former co-worker.

"Hey Mark! This angle doesn’t show exactly what happened. You were always so nice to me backstage at AEW and I constantly helped you with your travel whenever I could. If you think something is wonky, feel free to reach out directly whenever," Bryce Remsburg wrote.

Taz then weighed in. The AEW commentator did not directly address Henry, but he defended Remsburg and called him the best referee in the industry.

"Hey brother, u do NOT need to explain yourself or apologize for anything to anybody. As u know, s**t happens out there in a ring & talent aren’t robots, they are human & no one is perfect…u are the best in the biz imo…f**k all that noise. Keep being great! [fist emoji]," Taz wrote.

Henry has not responded to Taz as of this writing. AEW officials also have not weighed in on the matter, and it remains to be seen if the finish will be addressed.

AEW preparing for Grand Slam specials

All Elite Wrestling is set to return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NYC later this month. Dynamite: Grand Slam and Collision: Grand Slam will take place on Wednesday, September 25.

AEW is currently pushing tickets for the return to Queens for Grand Slam. Will Ospreay took to X today to remind fans about the tickets, while looking ahead to the big events.

"I cannot tell you how happy I am to get to perform in Arthur Ashe Stadium! First time I saw Kenny & Danielson in that ring I just knew I wanted to be inside that building blowing New York away!," Will Ospreay wrote.

It remains to be seen if a Rampage special will be taped in Queens. The company aired special Grand Slam editions of Dynamite and Rampage in 2021, 2022, and 2023. This year will mark the first-ever Grand Slam edition of Collision.
