A veteran discussed a potential crossover between AEW and WWE. The legend above mentioned is Jim Ross. JR served as a commentator in the Stamford-based promotion since 1993 and had ties with the company until 2019.
The 72-year-old signed with AEW in 2019 and works as a commenter. However, due to several health issues, the legend makes sporadic appearances for Tony Khan's company, mostly on pay-per-views.
The world has been talking about the blockbuster partnership between WWE and TNA. Moreover, Joe Hendry has taken the internet by storm after making an appearance on NXT earlier this week. In the past years, the Stamford-based company was hesitant to cross paths with any other wrestling promotion but that seems to have changed under Triple H's creative leadership. AEW, on the other hand, is no stranger to collaboration as they have a strong relationship with NJPW, AAA, and other promotions.
Jim Ross recently talked about a possible alliance between WWE and AEW. Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, the legendary commentator said that a working relationship between the top wrestling promotions is something he believes is "hard to see" right now, but it isn't impossible.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"It's hard to see it, but you know nothing's impossible apparently, but it's something I can't fathom right now. I think WWE will take in borders and renters for their space, but to keep them permanently might be a stretch, but I think it's a good idea. The wrestling fans, I've said this before on our show here, they like new, they like change, they like surprises ... I don't see extended partnerships, but and I hope I'm wrong because I think it's good for wrestling when you got new talent in," Ross said. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]

AEW's Jim Ross talks about Joe Hendry's NXT appearance
Joe Hendry's appearance on WWE programming brought a lot of views on the promotion's social media.
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast Jim Ross claimed the TNA star has got a 'big break' and should take full advantage of the exposure he's receiving.
"Joe Henry is a good talent. They've done a nice job there. The NXT people talent-wise, they got a good eye for talent... I think Joe's got a break there. He got a big break. So I hope he takes advantage of it." he said.
It will be interesting to see what is in store for the TNA-WWE crossover next.
