WWE legend Dutch Mantell has recently shared his concerns about the daring in-ring moves done by AEW star, "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry.
On the recent edition of Dynamite, Jungle Boy and RUSH delivered an exhilarating performance, demonstrating their athleticism and high-risk maneuvers in their match. However, a particular moment raised concerns about Jungle Boy's safety.
During an intense exchange, "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and RUSH traded strikes on the unforgiving apron. RUSH executed a powerful suplex, causing Perry to crash hard. Dutch Mantell expressed concerns on Twitter, urging him to consider the potential long-term damage.
During a recent episode of Sportskeeda's Smack Talk, Mantell expressed his concerns about Jungle Boy's career. He mentioned Mick Foley's comments about cutting down risky spots.
"But Jungle Boy, that's one way to end your career. Ask Mick Foley, he even said somewhere in that maze of tweets that I had, they portered him, said if he had to do it over again, he'd cut a lot of those spots down. And to see, the deal is Jungle Boy is not that big. Guys like Foley even said this, he said I had a layer of fat protecting the rest of my body, my spine, and my hips. But Jungle Boy doesn't have that, and it only takes one time. The fans will remember it 10 minutes. Jungle Boy, if he gets hurt, he'll remember it for the rest of his life." [21: 18 - 22:04]

Dutch Mantell's warning to AEW star about Billy Gunn
Dutch Mantell advises to AEW star "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry to approach Billy Gunn with caution after controversial comments about seeking advice from him at a convention in England.
Speaking on his podcast "Story Time," Mantell warned the AEW star about Billy Gunn's hot temper and advised him to be more diplomatic when discussing colleagues in public.
"So he doesn’t respect Billy Gunn at all? Well, Jungle Boy should know –he needs to be a little more political when he speaks of guys that he works with in public. I know Billy, Billy has a little bit of a hot temper, and I would hate to be in around them in a dressing room setting when Billy Gunn cuts loose on him. Look at the shape [Billy Gunn] is in, I would advise Jungle Boy to keep a low profile. I’m not there, but Billy Gunn has a little bit of a temper too.” [20:45 to 21:46]
Perry's controversial journey in AEW thrives as he headlines a major event in a four-way match for the World Championship at Double or Nothing.
