Orange Cassidy officially welcomes a new member to his AEW stable

AEW star Orange Cassidy recently added a new member to his faction. The star being discussed is Rocky Romero. The former International Champion was part of The Best Friends faction. Unfortunately, Trent Beretta and Kris Statlander betrayed him, while Chuck Taylor retired due to injuries.

The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion has been with AEW since May 2021. He also played a huge role in the current relationship between AEW and NJPW and has been appointed as Vice President of both companies. Due to his association with Trent Beretta, he used to accompany the Best Friends many times before. Their tag team is known as Roppongi Vice.

Meanwhile, after the separation of Best Friends, Orange Cassidy is part of a new faction called The Conglomeration. It consists of him, Mark Briscoe, and Kyle O'Reilly. Tomohiro Ishii was an active member of the faction, but he left the promotion for now, as he returned to NJPW after the excursion.

On the Dynamite: Grand Slam, The Conglomeration sent a message to Jericho Vortex ahead of their match on Collision. Before that, Orange Cassidy revealed Rocky Romero as the new member of the group. Later, he took to X/Twitter and posted a two-word message.

"It’s official…," he wrote.

It will be interesting to see how Rocky Romero contributes to the team.
