Paul Wight has shared an update on his social media that has led to a flood of congratulatory messages for the AEW star. Wight shared a video of himself working out and wrote that he got his knees and hips replaced successfully.

The former Big Show is one of the most respected names on the All Elite Wrestling roster. He has sporadically appeared and competed for the promotion, with his last match coming last year on the 15th November edition of AEW Dynamite.

Wight teamed up with Kota Ibushi, Chris Jericho, and Kenny Omega to take on the Don Callis Family and Brian Cage. A recent report that he was still with the company despite being absent from the ring and broadcasting duties. Amid this, the former WWE Champion took to Instagram to share a huge update, revealing how he successfully underwent knee and hip replacement. Check it out below:

"Today was a great day! Grateful. ❤️😎💪. Both knees both hips replaced. No pain! Well other than the hard work to get back into shape. That’s not egg shaped. lol," wrote Paul Wight.

Paul Wight is grateful about working for AEW

A few months back in an interview, Paul Wight revealed that he was pleased to be a part of AEW, where he gets to nurture and guide new talent. He went as far as to say it was one of the best things that happened in his decades-spanning career:

“It’s been fantastic. I was blessed to work for a big company for a lot of years all over the world. Now at my stage of the game, to find myself useful in a company that allows me to spread a lot of my knowledge to the younger talent, get a chance to get on the microphone every now and then and enhance them, help their characters along, and then get in the ring and mix it up. It’s probably the single greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m blessed, grateful, and thankful for the fans that still like to see me do my thing," he said.

With age not being on his side, it remains to be seen if Paul Wight ever steps back inside the squared circle or if we have already seen the last of him in the ring.
