Former AEW star Penta El Zero M made a surprising appearance in a major company. The veteran also made an important announcement during his appearance at the promotion, which was none other than AAA.
One-half of the Lucha Bros, Penta El Zero's contract with AEW recently expired, and the Luchador was removed from the company's roster page a couple of days ago. Many believe that Penta is headed to WWE; however, with Rey Fenix still under contract with All Elite Wrestling, the move to the Stamford-based promotion might be on hold.
On X (fka Twitter), AAA shared a post after Pentagon Jr's appearance at AAA Lucha Libre tapings. The Luchador made his surprising return during December the 7 tapings and cut a promo, revealing that he was taking time away from Mexican wrestling to make a huge career decision. Penta also teased a possible return to AAA in the future.
"Pentagón Jr. ( @PENTAELZEROM), EL CERO MIEDO performs at the closing of the tour #OrígenesAAA in CDMX."

Konnan on AEW possibly making The Lucha Bros. look bad
The Lucha Bros. have been rumored to move to WWE since earlier this year. However, while Penta El Zero has left the company, Tony Khan has reportedly added injury time to Rey Fenix's contract.
In a recent edition of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, wrestling veteran Konnan, who has worked with The Lucha Bros. in the past, accused All Elite Wrestling of making them look bad. He questioned the duo's creative direction and claimed that the team would've stayed in the promotion if they had been booked right.
"When you look at them wrestle, they always try to steal the show, they're super over, Fenix is always injured for doing dumb s**t to try to make everybody happy. If AEW would have done more with them, they'd still be there, OK? And learn to take [losses], it's part of the business. When I couldn't use Pentagon and Fenix because [they were already booked], you didn't hear me bad-mouthing them or the company," Konnan said. [From 2:19 to 2:43]
Fans will have to wait and see if Penta El Zero signs with WWE before Rey Fenix's departure from All Elite Wrestling.
