A certain AEW star was in attendance tonight at a major pay-per-view from one of their rival companies.
This would be Ryan Nemeth as he was spotted during TNA Rebellion. He has not been seen in AEW in around six months, but there has been no indication that he has departed from All Elite Wrestling. He has often been spotted with his brother Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler).
The Showoff has appeared in several major promotions following his time with WWE, including NJPW and TNA. Tonight at Rebellion, Ryan Nemeth was spotted in attendance, possibly to support his brother. At the pay-per-view, Nic Nemeth will challenge for the TNA World Championship in a match against Moose.
AEW star Ryan Nemeth talked about him and his brother appearing at Wrestle Kingdom 18
Following his release in September, Nic Nemeth made one of his biggest public appearances in January, attending this year's edition of NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom.
He was seen alongside his brother as they sat ringside for the event. At a point, the former WWE Superstar even got into a heated moment with David Finlay, resulting in things getting physical between them.
During his appearance on the Sarah O'Connell Show, Ryan Nemeth talked about his appearance at Wrestle Kingdom and how he was looking forward to his brother's help, as he offered his assistance wherever it would be needed.
"It was an honor to be part of that event," Nemeth said. "I look forward to seeing what happens in the future with Nic Nemeth and New Japan Pro Wrestling. And if I can ever be of assistance, then I would love to be. And if not, that's fine."
At this point, Ryan Nemeth is still affiliated with AEW, while his brother has recently been seen on NJPW and TNA. Considering the potential for several crossover events, it remains to be seen if fans will get to see the former WWE Superstar make an appearance in AEW.
If there's ever an event where this could happen, this would be Forbidden Door.
