Danhausen recently shared a new look on social media. He hasn't wrestled in AEW for more than seven months now.
The Very Nice Very Evil star has been known for his unique gimmick and character work. Throughout his time in the company, he has appeared with his face painted in black, white, and red shades. He has been a fan-favorite since his debut in 2022. The Kid Gorgeous was regularly featured on TV following his debut for a few weeks. However, he has been seemingly lost in the shuffle as time went by.
While not being featured much on TV in 2023, Hausen hasn't been seen in AEW since Worlds End Pay-Per-View. Not only he is healthy, but the 33-year-old star has been wrestling in different independent promotions amid his seeming hiatus with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Danhausen recently shared a new look on Instagram. In the picture, he hasn't used any red color on his face, while the black paint is scattered unevenly. This could be him teasing to debut a darker character.

Former WWE personality revealed scrapped plans for Danhausen
Matt Camp, a former host of WWE show The Bump, was released from the company in February 2024. He now continues to give his opinions on the wrestling in general in a podcast for the fans.
While speaking on his The Wrestling Matt podcast, the analyst revealed he had planned to include Hausen in a WWE show, where he and various personalities would judge the gears of different wrestlers. However, the pitch didn't go anywhere.
"I thought he could bring a lot to the table. And I had this pitch to do a fashion show, it never went anywhere because we could not get him. But I wanted to do a fashion show with Danhausen, Kayla [Braxton], Dalton Castle, and RJ City as the judges judging, like wrestling gears. It might have been a one-off. I don't know what it would have been," he said.
It will be interesting to see if Kid Gorgeous returns to the Jacksonville-based promotion soon.
