Mercedes Moné is one of AEW's biggest stars right now. She recently posted a few pictures on social media, prompting attention from fans.

Mercedes is currently the TBS champion, as well as the NJPW STRONG women's champion. Her career in the pro-wrestling industry has been nothing short of stellar so far, despite some hiccups along the way. Ever since coming to the Jacksonville-based promotion, she has been making waves as a heel.

A WWE veteran thinks the AEW star has a big issue

While Mercedes Moné is certainly doing well for herself in the Jacksonville-based promotion, Bully Ray thinks there is a problem with her in the company.

Although Tony Khan's roster has a large number of top-notch opponents for Mercedes, Bully thinks she is yet to be pushed to her peak in the ring. Speaking on Busted Open, the WWE veteran stated:

“Yes, Sasha went to AEW where she’s making a considerable amount of money [and] has a considerable amount of money [and] has considerable more freedom than she did in the WWE. She’s positioned at the top but I don’t believe she’s able to be in the ring with anybody who is going to bring the best out of her.”

Mercedes is still the TBS champion in Tony Khan's company, which gives her plenty of opportunity to face better opponents down the line. With stars like Julia Hart returning, fans would rightfully want the former WWE superstar to engage in more complex storylines in the near future.

It remains to be seen what is next for the CEO down the line, and how long she will be able to hold on to her title.
