AEW fans are buzzing this afternoon after a top talent provided a significant update on his return to action. While adamant about returning as an improved wrestler, the heavyweight has also fired back at fan criticism with harsh words and insults.

Powerhouse Hobbs has been out of action for almost 3 months. The AEW Original suffered a torn patellar tendon on April 24 while wrestling Jon Moxley in the 11-minute Dynamite main event, which had to be cut short. The injury was said to be severe, and Hobbs was forced to undergo surgery just days later. He began physical therapy 3 weeks after going under the knife.

The Embodiment Of Willpower has been brash about how he will be better when he returns to AEW. The 15-year veteran took to X today to share a photo of how he's looking 12 weeks after surgery:

"Just incase you thought I've been sitting on my a*s," Powerhouse Hobbs wrote.

A fan responded to Hobbs' photo and told him to work on his "chicken legs," accusing the 33-year-old of skipping leg day. Hobbs then fired back with expletives and insults:

"Aye b***h don’t worry bout it. They’re bigger and stronger. You’re officially the h*e cake a*s clown of the day," Powerhouse Hobbs wrote.

Hobbs is still a member of The Don Callis Family. Led by The Invisible Hand, the heel faction currently features Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Trent Beretta, and Rush, who just joined earlier this month.
