WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura was recently spotted in Orlando with a popular AEW performer amidst his hiatus from the promotion. This would be Minoru Suzuki.

The King of Strong Style has not been seen on TV since April when he lost to Sheamus on an episode of RAW. Suzuki, on the other hand, last appeared in AEW in January, when he faced Adam Copeland. The two Japanese stars are no strangers to one another, as they faced off in NJPW for over a decade from the early 2000s to the early 2010s.

On Instagram, Minoru Suzuki posted photos of the time he spent with Shinsuke Nakamura a few days ago. He revealed that the WWE Superstar picked him up at the Orlando airport, and they went out for drinks and caught up on a few things.

A rough translation of his caption can be seen below.

"Shinsuke Nakamura. Two of us went to a Mexican restaurant with the 'World's Cincena Camura' @shinsukenakamura who picked me up at the Orlando Airport. Had a great time with a wide range of topics from past to present! I haven't changed much from a long time ago. Margaritas for a Mexican restaurant are delicious~! When they say and drink... Well this was a big size and it felt like a margarita lol" Suzuki posted. [Translated on Instagram]

Shinsuke Nakamura set to make his return to WWE

While the former Intercontinental Champion has not been seen on live TV since April, his last match for the promotion was on a live show last month. He'll return at the end of this month as the promotion will make its way to Japan for the first time since 2019.

WWE is set to hold a series of shows in the Land of the Rising Star, and Shinsuke Nakamura was confirmed to be appearing in his home country. He was also present during the company's last show in Japan.

It remains to be seen whether the live shows will be the start of a new run for the Japanese star and whether this could begin his momentum as he looks to return to the main event scene.
