Two WWE legends were seen hanging out with a member of The Hurt Syndicate, which brought back some old memories to many fans. The AEW's newest faction currently features Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin.

Shelton Benjamin was recently seen posing for a picture with his old stablemates, Kurt Angle and Charlie Haas. The AEW star was a member of Team Angle during his stint in WWE in the early 2000s.

Together, they achieved many great things, including Benjamin and Haas becoming two-time Tag Team Champions. Kurt Angle, who is very active on social media, recently took to his X/Twitter account and posted a picture with his two former teammates and wrote:

""Team Angle" Reunion at The Big Event signing in New York. Thanks to all of the fans that showed up. #itstrue #TeamAngle @realcharliehaas @sheltyb803.”

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

Shelton Benjamin recalls his time with Vince McMahon in WWE

Vince McMahon oversaw many talents during his time in WWE and was central to many of their success. However, one of them was not Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin, who was clearly very talented, was not afforded the opportunity, and he would later go on to have great success on the independent scene. Speaking on the Gabby AF podcast, The Hurt Syndicate member revealed how Vince McMahon did not have enough faith in him.

"My biggest issue with Vince was that he didn't have enough faith in me. He has to have faith in you to put you in certain positions. That is my only real personal gripe with him. Aside from that, I don't have a lot of negative things to say about my interactions with him. If I asked him for a meeting, I always got that meeting. Sometimes, I may have had to wait," he said.

The Gold Standard was released by the Stamford-based company last September. He made his AEW debut alongside MVP on the fifth-anniversary edition of Dynamite. It will be interesting to see how Tony Khan books the veteran differently in All Elite Wrestling.
