At AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, a top star suffered his first pinfall defeat since joining the promotion a few months ago. This would be Hologram.
The luchador is currently 14-0 in all his matches since debuting for the company in July. He has competed in singles, tag team, and trios matches throughout his run.
Tonight, he made his AEW pay-per-view debut against The Beast Mortos. The two have crossed paths in the ring on multiple occasions, but tonight, they brought out a unique stipulation for the match. This would be a two out of three falls match.
This was a fast-paced contest between both stars, and Hologram got the ball rolling by hitting an impressive Crucifix Bomb from the top rope for the first pinfall. Moments later, Beast Mortos followed this up with a series of maneuvers, ending with a devastating Clothesline for the second fall.

This pinfall by Mortos was the first time someone had ever pinned Hologram since his arrival at AEW. Following this, both luchadors fought with a sense of urgency as another pinfall would secure the win.
Both tried hitting the maneuvers that scored them their first pinfalls, but it wasn't enough. Hologram eventually got the win by hitting his Portal Bomb for the third pinfall.
