A top AEW star's contract is reportedly set to expire in October. The star in question is none other than Daniel Garcia.
The former ROH Pure Champion arrived in All Elite Wrestling in 2020 and signed a full-time deal with the company in October 2021. Garcia's run with All Elite Wrestling has been full of ups and downs. He unsuccessfully challenged Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship at this week's Dynamite. Daniel seemingly started a new feud with MJF after Friedman brutalized him following his match.
According to a recent report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Garcia's contract is set to expire in October however, the 25-year-old is expected to re-sign with the Tony Khan-led promotion.
"Daniel Garcia's AEW contract is set to expire in October, unless he has signed a new deal with the company. Regardless, Garcia is not expected to leave the promotion." [H/T: WON]

Daniel Garcia claims WWE and AEW talents get along well
Daniel Garcia made some appearances for WWE in the past in 2020 and 2021. He wrestled Drew Gulak on an episode of 205 Live and Tyler Rust on NXT. However, he was never offered a full-time deal by the Stamford-based promotion.
Speaking in an interview with Adrian Hernandez, the 25-year-old star claimed that All Elite Wrestling is grateful for the success of WWE and believes that there is the same feeling on the other side as well.
"We’re very grateful for WWE succeeding, and I’m sure people at WWE, the talent is very grateful for AEW being successful. All talent, for the most part, I think everyone gets along and interacts with each other. Whenever we see each other at a big...like WaleMania during WrestleMania week, it’s always love, never drama."
WWE has been collaborating with many different wrestling promotions like TNA, GCW, NOAH, and more. It will be interesting to see if they find a way to work with All Elite Wrestling in the future.
