A popular name has claimed that she has retired from wrestling. This comes after she has wrestled just one match in AEW.

Aubrey Edwards is a name that is well-known to AEW fans as she has been with the company right from its start. Edwards is a referee who has been a part of some of the biggest matches in the company's history. She was also involved in the development of some of the company's video games.

Despite not being an active in-ring competitor, Edwards doesn't shy away from wrestlers who have tried to bully her in the ring. A notable instance of this is her feud with Karen Jarrett. This culminated in a mixed tag team match where Mark Briscoe teamed with Papa Briscoe against Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Karen Jerrett.

Aubrey Edwards recently took to social media to claim that she has retired from in-ring competition after this mixed tag team match:

"Today is the one year anniversary of my in-ring retirement, which came a day after I made @karenjarrett tap out"

Aubrey Edwards is a popular name in All Elite Wrestling that fans are very familiar with. She is very fond of her cat whom she has had for 17 years. Unfortunately for her, Edwards' cat recently passed away.

Edwards took to social media to share the unfortunate update with her fans. She also dedicated that day's "Show Day Nails" to her cat:

"A week ago I had to say goodbye to my Nikki cat. She lived a long and wonderful 17 years. Saying goodbye was heartbreaking. I’ve cried every day since. My #ShowDayNails tonight are for her, even though she wouldn’t care & would just be mad at not getting pets."
