WWE star Randy Orton's AEW doppelganger issued a statement on social media ahead of the high-stakes match at the Worlds End pay-per-view. The star being discussed is Kyle Fletcher, who has been on a great run since the last few months. His heel turn and rivalry with Will Ospreay have turned him into one of the top acts.
After betraying The Aerial Assassin, Kyle Fletcher shaved his hair in the middle of the ring and claimed not to look like his shadow anymore. Many compared his new look with the young Randy Orton. Fletcher also uses the rope-hung DDT the same way the Legend Killer does.
The 26-year-old was one of the dominant competitors in the league stages during the Continental Classic tournament. He emerged victorious against Shelton Benjamin, The Beast Mortos, Daniel Garcia, and Kazuchika Okada and earned 12 points in the Blue League to qualify for the semifinals. He will be wrestling Will Ospreay in the semifinals at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
Kyle Fletcher recently took to X/Twitter and sent an intriguing three-word message ahead of his chance to capture the Continental Championship at Worlds End on December 28.

Tommy Dreamer claims Kyle Fletcher reminds him of young Randy Orton
Fans have noticed the similarities between Orton and Fletcher for weeks now. Recently, Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on Fletcher's new persona.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, the ECW legend deemed Kyle the 'future of AEW' and compared him to a young Randy Orton.
"What you have in one person in particular, stood out to me, he reminded me of someone when he first came up on the WWE roster and each and every week I'm getting more invested in this person and also seeing the future of AEW, that's Kyle Fletcher. And the person he reminded me of was a young Randy Orton," he said.
It will be interesting to see if The Apex Predator will ever acknowledge the similarities between him and The Protostar.
