Rare photo of top female AEW star with Jimmy and Jey Uso resurfaces online

A rare old photo of a top female star with Jimmy and Jey Uso has been making the rounds on social media. The talent in question is Athena.

Athena has been part of AEW since May 2022. She also works for AEW's sister promotion, Ring of Honor. The 36-year-old is the current ROH Women's World Champion in her first reign.

She started her pro wrestling journey in 2007 and was trained by Booker T's Reality of Wrestling. During that time, she was paired with The Usos. An old photo of them walking down the ramp recently resurfaced online, drawing a lot of attention from fans.

Reality of Wrestling has now reshared the photo on its official X/Twitter account.

"This was from Booker T’s promotion Reality Of Wrestling. Athena was teamed with The Usos when they first started," the caption read.

Jey Uso is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion

Jey Uso has been with WWE for around 14 years but never won singles gold in the promotion until this past Monday.

On this week's episode of Monday Night RAW, he took on Bron Breakker and defeated him to win the Intercontinental Championship. The latter won the title at the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event after beating Sami Zayn.

Jey's father, Rikishi, sent a message to Rhea Ripley moments after he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the red show. He was very happy and proud of his son following his first singles title win in the company.

"@RheaRipley_WWE It’s time to celebrate Mami. AND YOUR NEW IC CHAMPION JEY MAIN EVENT USO Everyone Throw your hands in the air and say loud and proud #JeyWins #YEET @WWE," wrote Rikishi.

In the past few weeks, fans have seen Jey Uso combine forces with The Terror Twins (Rhea Ripley and Damian Preist) against The Judgment Day.
