RAW Superstar reveals Jon Moxley personally gave him Triple H's number and urged him to join WWE

Jon Moxley once advised a current RAW star to go to WWE. He even gave him Triple H's number.

Karrion Kross first joined the NXT roster in 2022. His raw intensity and aggression immediately caught the attention of the fans and WWE management who pushed him as a top star on the brand. He eventually became the NXT Champion. Since those days, Kross has come a long way in his career. These days, he terrorizes his opponents on RAW. However, he has a top AEW star to thank for his current job.

During a recent interview on the Not Sam Wrestling podcast, Karrion Kross said that he got Triple H's number from Jon Moxley. He was surprised at first but then texted The Game. Hunter called him back and he ended up in NXT a few months later. Kross also believed that the universe was always guiding him towards the Stamford-based promotion.

"After the show, he basically says, 'Listen, I'm not telling you where to go or where to make money. I'm just saying, you really should call Triple H. You could make a very very good living there. Work wherever you want. Go wherever you want. I just have a feeling that if you call him, things are going to be good for you.' 'What do you mean just call Triple H?' 'Just call him. Just call him. I'm giving you his number. I want you to call him.' I sent him a text. He calls me. 'Is this really Killer Kross?' We talk and a few months later, I was in NXT. That's kind of how it happened. Everything just aligned. I was getting messages from every direction of the universe to go to WWE." [H/T Fightful]

WWE star Karrion Kross also considered joining AEW

Prior to joining WWE, Karrion Kross had made a name for himself in various promotions such as Lucha Underground, MLW, and Impact Wrestling. Hence, he had multiple options to choose from when it came to his future. While he finally joined World Wrestling Entertainment, he was one step away from joining the competition.

During the same interview, Kross revealed that he and Scarlett were talking to Cody Rhodes about joining AEW but he decided to take Jon Moxley's advice and text Triple H.

"My wife [Scarlett] and I were talking to Cody (Rhodes) about potentially going to AEW at the same time. Now, I'm just like, 'Oh God,' but I had Jon right in front of me telling me to do this. It's the first time we worked, we don't even know each other. He's definitely not telling everybody to do this. I feel I should pay attention to this." [H/T Fightful]

It looks like Karrion Kross made the right choice by listening to Jon Moxley which has resulted in a successful career.
