El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. wrestled his last match alongside Galeno Del Mal against LJ Cleary and Saxon Huxley. He picked up a huge victory in an entertaining tag team match.
Ahead of his Star Navigation Premium 2025 match, Dr. Wagner Jr. took to X/Twitter and claimed he would be wearing gear inspired by the late great Mitsuharu Misawa. The color of his gear was green and white, similar to the Japanese legend, to pay tribute.
"Today, for my final match with Noah, I want to wear a gown inspired by Misawa-san. I never had the chance to meet him, but the colors connect us today. But what connects us most is that in the ring we are Emerald Warriors and Aztec Warriors," he wrote.
It remains to be seen if Tony Khan will sign El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to AEW this year before other major promotions grab him.
