A recently departed WWE name has officially confirmed his AEW arrival even as Forbidden Door III was still going on. This was expected by many but not so quickly.
The star in question is none other than Dijak. The former NXT star was let go by WWE on June 27th as they chose not to renew his contract. That was a surprise given how over he was with the fans on WWE NXT and on the main shows.
There were a lot of reports suggesting that he would make his way to AEW and those came true as Forbidden Door was taking place tonight. He confirmed his move by posting an image of a pair of sunglasses and tagging Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling, while there was a poster for Forbidden Door in the background.

This is nothing new for Tony Khan as he has a penchant for signing former WWE stars and Dijak is the latest in a long line. Tony will clearly be over the moon with his latest signing as he has a lot of potential and could elevate the main roster to the next level.
There could be a lot of good feuds for the former NXT star in AEW and he will be looking forward to proving his former employers wrong and be successful in his new company.
