A former AEW personality took to social media once more to hint at a potential move to WWE moments before tonight's episode of NXT. This would be Jose The Assistant.

Jose was a manager on the Tony Khan-led promotion for the luchador faction La Faccion Ingobernables, consisting of Rush, Dralistico, and Preston Vance. He also managed the likes of Andrade, who was previously affiliated with the faction. However, he was part of the mass releases in April this year.

On X/Twitter, Jose The Assistant hinted at him possibly making a move soon, saying he was ready for the next chapter of his career. Interestingly, he had the letters, N, X, and T capitalized, which may have been an intentional tease at him joining the brand.

"Just a reminder, time tick tick tick tick ticks away……. But how soon is SOON? Jose The Assistant ™ is ready for what is NeXT?" the former AEW name wrote.

This was not the first time he had done this, as he made a similar cryptic post last week too, a day before NXT's Great American Bash event. It could be a tease since Triple H has shown he isn't averse to signing former AEW talent to NXT, seeing how Ethan Page is the current AEW NXT Champion, and there are a quite a few names on the roster from AEW.

The former AEW manager revealed he was in town during NXT last week

Last week, some of the hints that Jose The Assistant put out was that he was in Orlando, Florida. This is where NXT has been holding their shows in for some time now.

The former AEW name took to X/Twitter to say that the weather there was great at the time. This was mere hours before NXT Great American Bash and felt like too much of a coincidence that he was around.

"The weather in Orlando, Florida is nice today. [fist emoji]," Jose the Assistant wrote.

Although he did not appear last week on NXT, this does not mean that a move to the brand is still not in the cards for him. With an episode of the show taking place tonight, he could surprise the wrestling world by making his debut then.
