A released star whom Tony Khan promised to rehire is reportedly close to making his in-ring return.

Anthony Henry and JD Drake have been on a steady run in ROH. They are one of the top teams in the promotions and were also starting to make regular appearances on AEW television recently. However, their push came to an end when Henry suffered a broken jaw, which took him out of action. To make matters worse, he was released from his contract. However, Khan has since promised to rehire him.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former AEW star Anthony Henry is a few weeks away from making his in-ring return.

Bully Ray wants to see Tony Khan call out Jack Perry

This week on AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry confronted Khan and asked him to shake his hand and reinstate him. Although Tony readily agreed, he was still sucker-punched by Jack Perry. Then The Young Bucks came out. They also attacked the AEW boss, laying him out with a Meltzer Driver.

Bully Ray spoke about this vicious assault on his Busted Open Radio podcast by saying that Tony should give Perry his receipt.

"This is what I wanna see from Tony Khan. When it comes to Jack Perry, I want to see Tony Khan have his George McFly moment. I wanna see Tony Khan have his man-up moment. I want to see Tony take his hand, ball it up into a fist, and punch Jack Perry right in his freaking mouth. That's the receipt. It's that simple. He ain't gonna get The Bucks the way The Bucks got him. He can get Jack Perry, and if Jack Perry gets the heat lumped on him the way he should from tonight, people have wanted to see that all summer,'' he said.
