Renee Paquette recently called out a top AEW star for their recent behavior, and she was seemingly not a fan of this change, considering how she has had a major change of demeanor as compared to recent months. This would be Kris Statlander.
At AEW Double or Nothing back in May, Statlander turned on her best friend, Willow Nightingale, marking her first heel turn since joining the company. She has since then aimed to take everything away from Willow while making her way up the ranks, but she has yet to reach that point.
On Instagram, Kris Statlander posted a clip of a backstage moment she and Renee Paquette had one year ago on her Instagram Story. She had Renee on her back and was doing squats while being interviewed. The former WWE personality responded to the post and said that they could have recreated the moment in reverse if she acted much better recently.

Kris Statlander earned a world title opportunity on AEW Dynamite a few days ago
Lately, Kris Statlander has been trying to push herself to the top in hopes of getting the better of her former best friend.
The two met in the semifinal of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament last month, but Willow ended up scoring the win. Last week, Statlander made her presence felt once more as she blindsided Nightingale backstage and demanded an elimination match for Willow's new CMLL World Women's Championship.
That match took place a few days ago on AEW Dynamite. It was a well-matched bout, but it all ended after Stokely Hathaway got involved. With the referee distracted, he handed Stat a steel chain, which she used to punch Willow in the face for the win.
Their next contest with the title on the line is still without a date, but this time, Kris Statlander could once more have the chance to take something away from her former best friend and continue to be a thorn in her side.
