Renee Paquette makes an urgent request to AEW

AEW personality Renee Paquette has made an intriguing appeal to the Jacksonville-based promotion. Her request pertains to Chappell Roan, an American singer and musician.

The Remarkable Renee Paquette joined All Elite Wrestling in 2022, where she currently serves as a backstage interviewer. Before signing with the promotion, the 38-year-old figure worked for eight years in WWE as Renee Young. She recently made an earnest request to presumably the higher-ups in the Tony Khan-led company on social media regarding the prospect of bringing Chappell Roan to All Elite Wrestling.

On her Instagram story, Paquette shared a clip of Roan's performance at Lollapalooza 2024. The video depicts the 26-year-old musician performing on stage in a pink and blue singlet and a lucha mask - a standard wrestling attire. She also expressed her seeming interest in Roan appearing in All Elite Wrestling.

Chappell Roan released her first EP, School Nights, in 2017. Although her record label, Atlantic, dropped her in 2020, she has continued to produce music prolifically, releasing her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, in 2023.

Beth Phoenix is undoubtedly one of the most legendary figures in the history of women's wrestling. According to recent reports, The Glamazon is no longer under contract with WWE, and considering her husband Adam Copeland has been signed with AEW since 2023, fans have been speculating on the possibility of Phoenix joining her spouse in All Elite Wrestling.

Former Women's World Champion Britt Baker responded positively to a recent post on X/Twitter asking if fans and audiences would like to see Beth Phoenix in All Elite Wrestling. The D.M.D.'s comments were echoed by Renee Paquette, who voiced her approval with a two-word comment.

"Also yes," she wrote.

Whether the 43-year-old veteran will decide to go All Elite amidst conjecture regarding her future in pro wrestling remains to be seen.
