The wrestling world is abuzz after Shane McMahon was spotted with The Young Bucks earlier today. There are now more details emerging on the unexpected meeting between the former WWE star and the AEW EVPs.

Shane McMahon was first seen with Tony Khan a few months back and ever since then, there have been rumors that he could be showing up in AEW anytime soon. Those claims were just made stronger after he bumped into The Young Bucks today.

More details have now emerged on the meeting between both parties. An anonymous source told Cultaholic that The Bucks and Shane were both on the same flight from New York City to Salt Lake City. The same source also added that the EVPs and Shane were seen speaking and laughing before taking the flight.

They were both in the first class section of the said flight, although McMahon was seated one row behind the AEW World Tag Team Champions. They also claimed that Shane said that it was a coincidence that he was on the same flight as the EVPs.

Shane McMahon reveals emotional moment with Vince McMahon

Shane McMahon and his father, Vince, seemingly had a complicated relationship. One of the most famous instances that was shown on camera was when Shane made his return to WWE in 2016.

He was at odds with his sister, Stephanie, and father at the time and that is when Vince put him in a Hell in a Cell Match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32. During the bout, Shane did the unthinkable when he jumped off the top of the cell and landed on the announcer's table.

He has now revealed how he earned Vince’s respect after that particular spot. On Netflix’s, Mr. McMahon, docuseries the 54-year-old McMahon said:

“I got a hug that night. It was a very emotional return. I got a pat on the back and a hug. Got that one. I had to earn that one. I guess I did.”

It was an emotional moment between father and son and went on to show how deep their bond runs, despite the apparent disdain that was shown on camera.
