An AEW original made his return on the most recent episode of Collision and was close to ending Hologram's winning streak. The Luchador has been on a roll ever since his debut on the Saturday show.
The returning AEW star in question is Angelico. The 37-year-old star has been with the promotion since its inception in 2019. Angelico made his return to the Saturday show after over four months. His last match took place on the April 13 edition of Collision, in a losing effort against Daniel Garcia. Tonight, he challenged Hologram's ongoing undefeated streak.
Hologram has been on a roll since his Collision debut, with four consecutive wins. Tonight, Angelico came pretty close to defeating the luchador in their eight-minute match. However, the 25-year-old managed to triumph yet again and continued his winning streak, taking it to 5-0 with a victory over Angelico in a highly athletic bout.
In his winning streak, Hologram has defeated Gringo Loco and The Beast Mortos in singles competition and also teamed with Mistico and Darby Allin on Collision.
Only time will tell what Tony Khan has in store for the 25-year-old star going forward.
