Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Ricky Starks has fired back at a disrespectful fan for sending a derogatory message on social media. Starks has been quite active on X/Twitter amid his absence from the company's programming.
Ricky Starks has been away from AEW TV for over three months. He last appeared on the March 30, 2024, episode of Collision, where he teamed up with Big Bill to face Top Flight and lost. Amid his absence from the Tony Khan-led promotion, Starks wrestled QT Marshall at BTW Welcome to Paradise in May.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating The Absolute's potential return for the past few months. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion shared a picture on X/Twitter after this week's Dynamite. A fan responded to the post by sharing the following message:
"Don't talk about the excellent Dynamite. Talk about me. Attention wh*re."

Starks didn't hold back, as he lambasted the X/Twitter user by sharing the following four-word reply:
"Shut the f**k up."

Tony Khan recently addressed Ricky Starks' AEW status
AEW President Tony Khan was recently asked about Starks' lengthy absence from TV. During his interview with SHAK Wrestling, Khan said the following about The Absolute's contributions to All Elite Wrestling:
"I really, really like Ricky Starks a lot. The last time we saw him here was in the World Tag Team Championship Tournament. He and Big Bill formed a great team, and they were the World Tag Team Champions! I think Ricky Starks is tremendous! I'd love to get him involved and back in AEW anytime. He's been a huge part of what we've done here for about four out of five years, and tons of respect for Rico!"
Starks was in a tag team with Big Bill the last time he was on TV. Bill has now combined forces with Chris Jericho. Only time will tell when The Absolute will return to in-ring action.
