Ricky Starks recently made some comments about Shane McMahon which got him into a heated argument with a fan online. He has now deleted the tweet where he commented about McMahon.
A while ago, Tony Khan expressed his interest in bringing former WWE star Shane McMahon into AEW. This week on July 29, the two had a private meeting sparking rumors of Shane O'Mac joining the Jacksonville-based company.
Ricky Starks recently went to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the Shane-AEW situation. He made a light joke and asked if the fans heard Shane's music on Dynamite. A fan took offense to this comment and accused the former FTW Champion of being disloyal to AEW.
In response, Starks wrote:
"I appreciate your opinion and even reply but I was trying to figure out why the tweet was “wrong” when I was just joking around. Didn’t think me asking was putting the company down,” Ricky responded.
The 34-year-old star has deleted his tweets, but some screenshots of his conversation with the fan are still floating around on the internet.
MJF calls Ricky Starks "one of the most underrated talents"
MJF recently did an interview on Casual Conversations with The Classic. During the interview, he praised Starks.
"I'll wrestle Ricky Starks any day of the week. I think he's one of the most underrated talents probably ever, like he's a f*****g phenom. I say that with a wink and a nod because he's the biggest Undertaker mark in the world," The Wolf of Wrestling said.
However, The Salt of the Earth didn't fail to mention how he buried Starks during their fight in 2022. The two stars locked horns at Winter is Coming shortly after MJF won the World Championship at Full Gear PPV.
