AEW star Ricky Starks recently posted about a huge milestone regarding his career. He has been absent from AEW programming for seven months.
The former FTW Champion is not only considered a talented star but is also a fan-favorite in the Jacksonville-based promotion. He has had matches against huge stars like MJF, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Jay White and even won the world tag team title with Big Bill.
Things were looking good for the star in 2024 too. However, after losing the tag team championship to Sting and Darby Allin, he was last seen on the March 30, 2024 edition of Collision.
Ricky Starks started his pro wrestling career in October 2011. He recently completed thirteen years in the industry. He took to X/Twitter and claimed that he wrestled his last match on October 9, 2011. He also thanked everyone who supported him on his journey.
"Missed the day last week but it’s been 13 years since I had my first match on October 9th I believe. Couldn’t have dreamed that I’d be where I am at today but I’m extremely thankful for every match, every person that has supported me. Here’s to keep leveling up!" he wrote.

Ricky Starks returned to major promotion
The former AEW World Tag Team Champion returned to the Glory Pro Wrestling show held in St. Louis. He will be facing Kody Lane on November 24 at WrestlePocalypse.
During his return, Ricky Starks said that many have forgotten who he is and claimed to be 'Absolute.'
"I'm going to prove something a lot of people may have forgotten about me. I am the man. I am the one. And most importantly, I'm Absolute, baby," he said.
It will be interesting to see when will the 34-year-old star will return to AEW.
