Former WWE Superstar Ricochet was recently accused of copying a popular signature gesture on a recent AEW television show. The star who accused him was Austin Gunn.
Mr. High Fly was in action on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming where he defeated House of Black member Brody King in the Continental Classic 2024 Gold League Match.
During the match on AEW's flagship show, The Highlight of the Night lifted his fingers in the air similar to the 'Gunns Up' gesture, which is a signature taunt of The Bang Bang Gang.
Austin Gunn didn't like the fact that the former WWE star copied his faction's gesture. Therefore, he called him out on X (fka Twitter) and even asked AEW to ban him from doing the taunt in the future.

Ricochet criticized for his promo skills on Dynamite
Ahead of his match with Brody King on Dynamite, The Highlight of the Night met with Renne Paquette for a backstage interview where he delivered a promo. He was asked to comment on his upcoming match. The star said:
“This is why I came to AEW, for the competition, and nothing brings that out quite like the Continental Classic. And tonight I have Brody King for the first time. But he’s not Ricochet. We might be one and one right now, but tonight, [checks MVP's card] it’s me who holds all the cards,” said the former WWE star," the former United States Champion replied.
The fans noticed that The One and Only's promo seemed a bit awkward and some even claimed that he's not good on the microphone. A few of the people even suggested him to hire a manager.
