AEW star Ricochet's new attitude has caused him a lot of trouble in recent weeks. He has been one of the top performers for the company but is constantly mocked by the crowd.

The Hammerstein Ballroom wasn't a good venue for the One and Only star. On the latest edition of Collision, he had a match with Will Ospreay in the Continental Classic tournament. During the former's entrance, he received a hostile reception from the New York crowd as they threw toilet paper towards him, even as they booed the star.

On tonight's Dynamite, Ricochet defeated Darby Allin to confirm his spot in the semifinals of the Continental Classic tournament. He will face Kazuchika Okada at the Worlds End pay-per-view and if he manages to go into the finals, the Highlight of the Night will either square off against Will Ospreay or Kyle Fletcher. The event will take place in Orlando.

During his match on Dynamite, fans mocked the star with disrespectful chants such as 'Why you bald' and threw toilet paper at him. Following Dynamite, he took to X/Twitter and claimed that New York didn't treat him well. Ricochet also hoped that the Orlando crowd at Worlds End would respect him.

"New York always leaves me with such a rotten taste in my mouth. It makes me really appreciate beautiful Las Vegas. Although I would never go back to Orlando by choice, I'm sure they will at least show me the respect I deserve this Saturday at @AEW #WorldsEnd aha," he wrote.

It remains to be seen if Ricochet is able to capture the Continental Championship at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
