Ricochet competed in the main event of AEW Dynamite this week. Before his match, the former WWE Superstar was seen performing a viral physical gesture, which he has now explained.
The Future of Flight was scheduled to face AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher in tag team action with a mystery partner of his choice. The latter turned out to be the returning Powerhouse Hobbs, who joined Ricochet in taking down his former Don Callis Family stablemates.
On X/Twitter sometime earlier, a user pointed to the inaugural WWE Speed Champion performing a dab during his entrance on Dynamite. King Rico responded by revealing that the viral move is something he engages in with his stepdaughter and disclosed that he did it on the Wednesday night show to convey to the latter that he had been thinking about her.
"Yeah, it's a thing I do with my step-daughter. I did it so she could see I was thinking of her," wrote Ricochet.

Ricochet seemingly has made some new allies in AEW
The aforementioned tag bout, which was the main event at AEW Dynamite this week, ended with Ricochet picking up the win for his team by pinning Konosuke Takeshita.
Afterward, his partner Kyle Fletcher ambushed The Human Highlight Reel and his partner Powerhouse Hobbs. The Protostar's Aussie Open teammate Mark Davis appeared to stop him, but the latter would then be blindsided by Fletcher's Don Callis Family allies Brian Cage and Lance Archer.
However, Adam Cole - scheduled to face Takeshita next week on Dynamite - then arrived to brawl with the Japanese phenomenon to the back. Meanwhile, before Fletcher could seriously hurt Mark Davis, Will Ospreay returned and went after his former friend for betraying him. Davis, Hobbs, and Ricochet assisted the Aerial Assassin in sending the heel faction running.
Afterward, the four men solidified their alliance in a backstage digital exclusive.
