Ricochet will face returning star AR Fox later this week on AEW Collision. Fox wrestled his last match in the Tony Khan-led promotion on the July 6, 2024, edition of Rampage. He participated in a four-way bout featuring Rey Fenix, Angelico, and Komander.
The last time Fox and The Human Highlight Reel faced off one-on-one was on May 15, 2016, at Lucha Underground: The Hunger Inside. At the time, they were known as Dante Fox and Prince Puma, respectively.
Ricochet issued an open challenge on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite. Later on in the show, fans saw AR Fox accept the former WWE United States Champion's challenge. The two stars will go head-to-head in a singles bout on the upcoming episode of Collision.
"Ricochet, we got a past that has been buried for years. But this Saturday, I'm going to dig it up and you get foxed up and boxed up," said Fox in a backstage interview on Dynamite.

AR Fox has been associated with All Elite Wrestling since October 2022 but officially signed with the company in November 2022. Meanwhile, The Future of Flight joined the Tony Khan-led company this year and made his surprise debut at All in 2024 in London, England.
Ricochet's Collision opponent AR Fox trained Austin Theory
Austin Theory is one of the most popular names on the WWE roster. He joined the Stamford-based promotion in 2019. Later that year, Theory made his in-ring debut on the December 25 episode of WWE NXT, where he accepted Roderick Strong's NXT North American Championship open challenge but lost.
Before joining the global entertainment juggernaut, Theory spent a few years on the independent circuit, where he trained under AR Fox. The former WWE Tag Team Champion made his professional wrestling debut on May 5, 2016, when he defeated Fox at a WWA4 event to secure the WWA4 Heavyweight Title.
The Human Highlight Reel and Austin Theory shared the ring on eight occasions in WWE. While Ricochet is now making waves in AEW, Theory is among the most prominent stars on the SmackDown roster.
