Ricochet signed for AEW earlier this year. He made his debut at the All In pay-per-view, in a Casino Gauntlet match for a future AEW World Championship match. Furthermore, he battled Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship in last week's episode of Dynamite.

Ricochet is immensely active on X (fka Twitter). Not only does he interact with fans but he also responds to criticism. Recently, he shared a clip of him wrestling the luchador, El Hijo del Vikingo, on GLEAT (a Japanese wrestling promotion.) In its caption, the high flyer sent a message to his haters.

"Here's something else for you Cheese Curlers to be mad about. Suck it," said the 35-year-old.

In response to this, a fan addressed the wrestler as an annoying p*ick. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was not too happy about this comment and responded to this user by retweeting a picture of an overweight animated character, sleeping on a couch with what appears to be a large bowl of cheese puffs in his hand.

Ricochet on why he signed for AEW

Earlier this year, the new AEW signee had a conversation with Sports Illustrated's Steven Muelhausen. In it, he explained why he signed for All Elite Wrestling. He stated that in the past, he traveled the world with several AEW stars. He had the most fun in his life and career in doing this. Hence, he joined the Jacksonville-based company.

"Honestly, the biggest reason [he signed with AEW] is that I’ve been doing this for a long time, 21 years this year. And for me, the time when I was like, having the most fun in my career was when I was traveling the world with those crazy lunatics in the back there," he said. [H/T Sports Illustrated]

Ricochet is scheduled to face Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay (c) for the AEW International Championship in a three-way match, at WrestleDream.
