Fans on social media reacted to an embarrassing botch that took place during the AEW WrestleDream 2024 Zero Hour. The botch went viral after a women's match.
During the AEW WrestleDream 2024 Zero Hour, Anna Jay was set to take on Harley Cameron in a singles match. It was a decent match as Jay registered another win since her return from Japan last month. Anna had been competing in World Wonder Ring Stardom for the past few months before making her return to the Tony Khan-led company last month.
However, an embarrassing botch was noticed by fans from the match between Jay and Cameron as the clip went viral of the referee putting Harley's shoulder down on the mat to make the three count.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray called out AEW referees
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray lashed out at the AEW referees months ago for their mediocre work. While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, the 53-year-old veteran said the following:
"I don't know why AEW feels the need to have referees in some of these matches, because they just don't do their jobs, I liked the match, I didn't like the referee. Guy is out on the floor, no count, punches in the corner, no count. I mean, is it that difficult to do your job? Is it that difficult to be the law and order in the ring?"
Bully Ray went on:
"Is it that difficult to count to ten when a guy's on the floor? Or count to five when guys are in the ropes or in the corner? I mean, why do you sit there and do nothing? I don't understand that, I mean, you do absolutely nothing. Makes no sense, lends zero credibility to the match."
Only time will tell if the Tony Khan-led promotion gives a thought to the criticism regarding its referees.
