A top AEW tag team recently teased splitting on tonight's Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite. It seems The Acclaimed may not be together for long.
Anthony Bowens and Max Caster haven't been on the same page for the last few months. Both teased each other about breaking up their alliance on the previous shows. The cracks between them were seen since the Hurt Syndicate's MVP handed The Platinum star the faction's business card.
The former AEW World Tag Team Champions failed to sync in their tag team matches. On the last AEW Rampage, Bowens faced Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. During the climax of the bout, Max Caster accidentally hit his partner with the title, which led to him losing the contest.
Tonight, on the first Dynamite episode of the year, The Acclaimed teamed up against The Hurt Syndicate in a massive tag team contest. The duo went on to lose the match as they failed to communicate.
Ahead of their match, a very frustrated Anthony Bowens asked The Platinum star if he deliberately hit the former, which cost him the ROH World Championship.
It will be interesting to see if the former tag team champions will go their way.
