Anthony Bowens and Max Caster haven't been on the same page for the last few months. Both teased each other about breaking up their alliance on the previous shows. The cracks between them were seen since the Hurt Syndicate's MVP handed The Platinum star the faction's business card.
The former AEW World Tag Team Champions failed to sync in their tag team matches. On the last AEW Rampage, Bowens faced Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. During the climax of the bout, Max Caster accidentally hit his partner with the title, which led to him losing the contest.
