WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently revealed why he wished for his wrestling students to end up joining the Stamford-based promotion instead of heading to AEW. Three of his sons already work for WWE.

The Samoan legend himself was someone who had quite a run with the company, going on to share the ring with some of the best of his generation. Despite not winning the world title, he is a former Intercontinental Champion and a 3-time World Tag Team Title holder. His sons now continue his legacy as three of them are signed with the Stamford-based promotion.

On his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi talked about training his students, who he considered his kids, and how he wished they would eventually sign with World Wrestling Entertainment. He spoke about how he had a good relationship with them and that would never change regardless if another major company like AEW comes into the picture.

“I’ve always wanted you kids to go to WWE. WWE is our home, we have a good relationship with the WWE and it’s always going to be there. I don’t care what new company comes up, another new company comes up, two, three years from now, WWE will never ever go anywhere.”

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

He continued:

“So, at the end of the day, when we get these extras, when they request for extras, I love to take some of you kids there so you’ve experienced that, to where you go and you let them see how everything works behind the scenes.” [H/T - EWrestlingNews]

Rikishi recently talked about his son Jey Uso's booking in WWE

The Hall of Famer recently talked about how he was unhappy with how his son was being booked on Monday Night RAW as he is currently emerging as a potential player in a love storyline featuring the likes of Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio.

On the same podcast, he talked about how the original members of The Bloodline could reunite, but not before mentioning how he wished for Jey to get a singles push as he was one of the most popular stars in the company. He clarified that this was his opinion regardless the star involved here was his son or not.

"Because they're not doing a da*n thing with 'Yeet.' My opinion is, why do you not push or give the most popular babyface, in my eyes, be it my son or not? If The Yeet Master or The Yeet Man is over, why? How come? What is the problem not giving this guy, you know, some type of title or something? Win something. It would only be good for business, wouldn't it? That's what they say; it's good for business, right?" Rikishi said. [From 42:20 to 42:56]

At this point, it seems that Jey Uso may be stuck in his current place until a major swerve in The Bloodline storyline prompts him to come back into the picture.
