A WWE legend has recently praised the company for one of their most recent projects featuring him. This would be the latest episode of their Legends documentary. The legend featured was Rob Van Dam (RVD)

The Stamford-based promotion, along with the A&E Network have worked on a documentary of several of the company's legends and icons. They are now on their fourth season since beginning this partnership. This season, they have put the spotlight on the careers of the likes of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero, and The British Bulldog among others.

While many of the featured stars have been from the past eras of WWE, the new era led by Triple H seems to have no issues celebrating current generation stars who are still active, even in promotions other than WWE.

This week, the episode showcasing Rob Van Dam was aired on the network. The Hall of Famer tweeted about this, thanking both A&E and WWE for making this possible and creating a great episode.

"Thank you @AETV for airing that 5 star biography on Rob Van Dam!! Great stuff! @WWE," the legend tweeted.

Rob Van Dam was recently praised by another Hall of Famer

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (fka Bubba Ray Dudley) was recently asked on Twitter who the stiffest opponent he ever faced in ECW was.

He revealed that this was RVD, as he described the interesting encounters they had in the squared circle.

“Myself and @RVD had a 'healthy, snug' relationship in the ring," the Hall of Famer wrote.

Rob Van Dam now has a career spanning more than three decades, and the interesting part of this is how it is not quite finished yet.

Last year, he made his AEW debut and has been sporadically appearing for the promotion, with his last match there being two months ago. He has not shown any ring rust and has been able to go toe-to-toe with several stars in the ring, including now-AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland.

It remains to be seen how much more gas is left in the tank for the Hall of Famer before he decides to call it a day.
