WWE legend Matt Hardy recently revealed that he wanted to see Roman Reigns make his return as a babyface and join hands with two WWE stars. This would be the most logical outcome given how things are going.

The two stars in question are none other than Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. The Usos were always by Roman’s side during his time as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for nearly four years. However, the group disintegrated and all went their separate ways.

Matt Hardy was speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast when he said that he wanted to see Roman Reigns return to WWE as a babyface.

"Yes. I mean he just got to do the same shtick he was doing before The Bloodline, except he is gonna be positioned in the role of the hero. I don't even think he changes a whole lot. I just think you act the same way, you do the same deal, you go back to your original crew. You put The Usos back together in there, however it has worked out. Now, they just need to make sure to build up this new Bloodline to make them seem like they are going to be a threat because Roman is a very high bar. So, they really need to put as much steam as possible on this new version of The Bloodline," Matt Hardy said. [0:47 - 1:21]

AEW's Jim Ross wants Roman Reigns to make his return to WWE as a babyface

Matt Hardy’s thoughts were echoed by another WWE legend Jim Ross. The AEW commentator usually gives his opinions on the current events in wrestling and recently spoke about Roman Reigns.

Good Ol' JR said that the stage is perfectly set for Roman to turn babyface. He was speaking on his Grilling JR podcast when he said:

"My God, the table is set [for Reigns to turn babyface]. The table is set very nicely. Paul’s performance was extraordinary. You know, he’s just a special talent. I’m concerned about his size, I’m concerned about his weight. I want him to stay healthy and productive and all that good stuff. But yeah, him getting the bump through the table was pretty da*n special. And he’s no spring chicken, but he did it; he got it done.”

It will be interesting to see how Roman Reigns will finally come back to WWE. If and when that happens, fans can expect the old Bloodline to come back together.
